I am a bilingual journalism student at the University of Florida, specializing in broadcast journalism with a minor in Latin American studies. I am the executive producer for Noticias WUFT for 2025–2026, and I have worked as a social media strategist and digital content creator for four years at a non-profit organization.
As the executive producer for Hispanic Heritage Month, I created a special segment for our Noticias WUFT show to highlight members of the Hispanic community.
Hurricane Helene caused an estimated $116.5 million in agricultural losses across Florida last year, according to officials with the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
I got the opportunity to be the Summer 2024 Communications Intern for NAHJ during their 40th conference. I contributed with tasks like social media management, media relations, and supporting the communications director. I assisted with content creation and the mobile app, as well as supporting the "More Latinos In News" campaign. During the conference, I was responsible for covering the event through real-time Instagram/Facebook stories, videos, and posts.
Contributed to election night coverage by presenting a Spanish-language segment for WUFT’s special broadcast. Simultaneously created graphics and animations for the 'Elecciones 2024' intro and background. Additionally, wrote a web story for the election coverage and produced recap/results mini-shows for social media.
I serve as the president of the Gator Chapter for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, helping more students find opportunities and advocating for our Hispanic journalism community
